Bop It! Smash Review and Giveaway

Now that the kids are getting out of school, we’re entering that restless time of year.  You know time where you often hear “I’m soooooooo bored” to the point where you’re shoving your kids outside to actually go find trouble so you can find a moment’s peace.  Well, Hasbro has spruced up an oldie but goodie to bring fun to your kids this summer.  It’s Bop It! Smash, and we were excited to review it.

Can you move faster than the speed of light? You’ll have to put your reflexes to the test as you attempt to control, trap and play with light in the all-new Bop It! Smash. Similar to other Bop It! favorites, Bop It! Smash is a fast action, reaction skill game, but with a new challenge. Players must move fast to be able to trap a rapidly-moving light in the center of the game unit by quickly smashing the ends of the game together. The closer the light is to the center, the more points you score!

I have to say that Bop It! Smash is quite addicting.  It’s one of those games where you keep having to top your last score.  I’m serious.  It was often I was finding myself playing it after the kids had gone to bed.  Having that said,  it really is a great game to group the kids together just as much as it to sit down with the family.

I really enjoyed being able to play as a family, because everyone got in on it.  Including Miss Ryleigh!  We had tons of fun and it was super cute while Mr. B was watching Dad or Mom play.  He would stand there and do his little “oooh oooh oooh” dance like he was dodging something.  Course, he was just REALLY getting into the game.

After our experience, I would definitely recommend Bop It! Smash!

    My son just finished Kindergarten and by noon the first day out, he was bored. My wife has been taking him to the library, meeting up with friends, and visiting the children’s garden. Also, he’s starting summer t-ball. He’s keeping pretty busy.

    my kids play outside all day. i’m very lucky about that. but on a rainy day, they love to paint and do crafts. i have to admit, though, they love TV too!
