Creative Vado Pocket Cam Review

What a great frugal way to take video of your kids to share with family! I was so excited that I got a chance to review this! The Creative Vado Pocket Cam absolutely rocks!

When I first saw this pocket cam, I immediately thought that it would make a frugal choice for moms. Think about how many times the thought crossed your mind “oh I wish I had a camera to get this so I could show it to the grandparents”. You refer back to the video cameras you saw at Best Buy and how expensive they were. Even if you did have the money, it’d be like pulling teeth to learn how to use the blasted thing much less email or post the video to the web.

Creative made the Vado pocket cam just for you! It’s about the same size as most cell phones and it holds 2 hours worth of video on good quality and 1 hour on excellent quality. It’s super easy to use and anyone can use it. It is very basic with it’s buttons! When you’re ready to upload your video to your computer, you just plug it in via the usb that is attached. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that charges while you have it plugged into your computer. There’s no wires to keep up with and it takes great video! For just $60 at Walmart it’s a great alternative to the big expensive video cameras.

Below, you can see a video I took of my son in low light set on good quality. I was surprised it actually picked up in such low light. I’ve had it for a little while now and it has held up very well. It still looks brand new! I absolutely love it! I love how easy it is to use and I love how small it is. It’s always in my purse so I’m always ready to never miss a minute. We all know that you never know when your child is going to do something worth capturing! This is definitely a frugal mom pick!
