RECALL – Tassimo Brewers AND T-Discs

I just wanted to let y’all know about this important recall.

Over 1.7 million Tassimo single-cup coffee brewers in the United States and Canada are being recalled due to a potential burn hazard. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in the affected machines, the plastic T-Disc that holds the coffee or tea can burst and spray hot liquid and coffee grounds or tea leaves. So far, 140 incidents have been reported, 37 of which include consumers suffering 2nd-degree burn injuries. To see which models have been recalled, check Tassimo Direct.

In addition, Kraft Foods has recalled over 4 million Tassimo T-Discs in the United States and Canada, also due to a potential burn hazard.
