Ribert & Robert Review

After watching Ribert & Robert about a million times now I think it would be safe to say that this is a great show for kids. My son absolutely loves it. So much so, he doesn’t mind watching the same episode more than twice! It’s not hard to believe that this series is a multi award winner.
Ribert & Robert is an interactive show devoted towards learning. Ribert is a computer animated toad while Robert is a human adult. They’re BFFs (best friends forever). As the theme song goes, Ribert wants to know everything. So with Robert’s help Ribert goes all over WonderWorld with his roller coaster rocket finding answers to his questions. Each episode is devoted to one subject.
Your child takes on the role of “Power Pal” to help out Ribert. This role includes taking the front seat in the rocket while going through WonderWorld to find answers to the show’s theme. The first episode that I watched, “Winter”, shows the Ribert learning about what winter is. On his trip through WonderWorld, Ribert visits several human friends with the help of Robert. Ribert gets to participate in all sorts of fun stuff! These things include making paper snowmen and drawing. The second episode, “The Rainforest”, has Ribert learning about tropical rainforests and the animals that live there.
The rapping lovable Ribert makes it fun for your child to watch. There is a mix of computer animation and real live people (think Blues Clues). It makes this make believe WonderWorld believable for your child. I love how music and craft ideas are included in these episodes. What’s even better, is that after the show is over, you and your child can go on Ribert’s website and print out a certificate for passing the challenge! Your child will feel a sense of accomplishment!

I received a promotional DVD for the sake of completing this review.
Receipt of this did not sway my opinion.
