Schleich Wildlife Animal Families Review and Giveaway

Congratulations to ABPHANTOM! Thanks to everyone who played!

I couldn’t think of a kid who has a bigger imagination than Mr. B. When I see him play with his action heros or the toys in the bath tub, I always hear stories of great adventures. So, any toy that helps encourage that, I’m all for. That’s why I was excited to review Schleich‘s new Wildlife Animal Families.

As soon as I opened the box, Mr. B was all over them. He kind of got mad at me too when I had to take them back to see exactly what we had! After I got to assess everything, I was more than happy to give it back.

This Schleich collection is inspired from wildlife families including Water Buffalo and Kudo to more familiar farm life families such as Texas Longhorn Cattle and Pinto Horses. I was taken aback by the quality of these figurines. Each Schleich figurine is painstakingly designed in Germany, hand-painted, stunningly realistic and designed to stand the test of time. Which is a good thing because Mr. B is quite hard on toys.

Every day when I get home from work, I always hear something going on with these animals in Mr B’s room. While I’m sure these were designed to be “pretties”… you know the toys you look at but don’t touch…I assure you that these would hold up to the harshest kids.

Which one is Mr B’s favorite? Oh, that would be the water buffalo. Why the water buffalo? I guess it goes back to the time we took him to one of those drive through safari places. We rented one of their junk cars, drove through, and well I guess you can tell from the photos he just thinks they’re funny.
