Super Quick Cheap Pizza
In a previous post, I discussed pizza and how it’s a go to food for us busy moms. Instead of buying it, I will share a recipe I found for some super quick pizza I found on recipezaar. I like this recipe because it is really fast to make, the crust isn’t crumbly like most homemade pizza, and it’s really cheap. I do keep the Ragu “Homstyle” pizza sauce around the house only because I haven’t found a really good homemade pizza sauce yet. The sauce is only a little over $1 and there’s usually enough for more than one pizza…of course that depends on how big of a pizza you make too. The pizza I made for my family was made by doubling this recipe. If followed exact, this will yield about a personal sized pizza.
Super Easy Pizza Crust
1 1/2 Cup of your copycat Bisquick
1/3 cup of very hot water
1 1/2 Cup of your copycat Bisquick
1/3 cup of very hot water
Stir together Bisquick mix and very hot water; beat 20 strokes until soft dough forms
Press dough in pizza pan.
Spread pizza sauce over dough.
Top with ingredients of your choice (i.e. cheese, beef, veggies)
Note: If you use any meat, make sure it’s cooked prior to placing on pizza
Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
Enjoy!
