Here we are, week 9 on the Nutrisystem plan! This week was a hard one as it was slap full of temptation! The biggest deal was whenever my co-workers wanted to go to lunch. Even though I’ve been on plan for 9 weeks, it’s still really tough not to give in to the old ways and just splurge. This brings up a great point of making your goal visual.
Whenever you make a weight loss goal, it’s one thing to say “I want to lose X amount of pounds.” Sure, you can be motivated, but it’s very easy to lose sight of what your goal is whenever you’re in a situation where you just want to splurge. I think that it’s really important to give yourself a visual that you can refer back to whenever you’re tempted or are down on your progress. For me, it’s a picture of my husband and I when we first started dating. That is the size I want to get back to. So, I have it on my fridge and I also have it as the background on my cell phone. That way, I’m always reminded of what my goal is so I don’t lose sight of it. It also makes me work just that much harder.
Think about that when setting your goal or reaffirming it. Make it visual and look at it often especially in your time of need!
My motivator helped me succeed again this week! I lost a pound bringing me down to 174!
