ZEISS Individual Lenses
I’m not a fan of being blind as a bat. If you’re like me or have a family member who is visually disabled, then you know that it is very important to have eye examinations. If you’re new to the club, you definitely need to see an eye care professional! Those folks will conduct a test of your vision and then prescribe optimum lenses to help sharpen your vision. Of course, your new found vision is where ZEISS lenses come in.
As you can imagine, our eyes allow us to experience and perceive our environment more than any other sensory organ. So obviously we want to embrace that and have the best experience we can! Carl Zeiss Vision understands that and takes the importance of individuality into account when rendering consulting and diagnostic services to people who wear glasses and of course, when producing lenses for them!
ZEISS, a leader in optics, understands the importance of taking individuality into account when producing lenses for eyeglass wearers. ZEISS spent years developing cutting edge technology to improve the experience of eyeglass wearers!
We’ll start with the eye test. The i.Profilerplus® by ZEISS is a diagnostic tool that analyzes the performance of eyes to a level of detail far beyond traditional methods. These measurements are used to create a customized i.Scription® lens that meets the unique vision needs of the individual more accurately than any previous technology. The result is sharper vision with better contrast and color perception.
After you have your prescription, you’ll love the i.Terminal® by ZEISS. The i.Terminal® measures such dimensions as pupillary distance, vision height of the eye, tilt of the eye glasses frame, distance between the eye and lens and the frame wrap to ensure that you receive the best possible visual experience from the ZEISS lenses. Lens performance is important so you’ll appreciate the accuracy of the fitting within the chosen frame and on one’s unique face.
One lens you may consider is the ZEISS Individual®. It is actually the first progressive lens to integrate how your frames, face and prescription work together to create a one-of-a-kind lens personalized for the wearer.
Fancy dancy, huh?
ZEISS also wants to empower consumers to help ensure they receive the right lens for their individual vision needs by educating them about lens options, and questions to ask their eye care providers.
If you’re new to the visually impaired club or have been a long time member, ZEISS offers an Educational Tools section that covers four topics, including:
- Facts to know about vision and lenses
- Tips for selecting an eye doctor
- Questions to ask at your next eye appointment
- Facts to know about age-related vision changes
There’s a ton of information in the guide that is great for the new and old alike!
Receipt of this did not sway my opinion
